Our Mission
Doug RC Lab was built from real life, not hype.
For a long time, I was quietly watching, buying, learning, building, testing, and trying to understand where I fit in the RC world again. Doug The Moose only became public last month, but the work, the hobby, and the desire to build something meaningful had already been happening behind the scenes.
My purpose is simple: help people make better decisions without getting burned.
I’ve been around RC and mechanical hobbies since I was a kid, and now I document that passion through builds, reviews, field reports, and honest product testing. If I feature a product, link to it, or partner with a brand, my goal is not to pressure anyone into buying. My goal is to show what I actually use, what works, what I would buy again, and what I would skip.
I’ve been burned before by “get rich quick” promises, fake gurus, and people selling dreams they would never stand behind themselves. I know what it feels like to spend money you couldn’t afford to lose because someone made opportunity look easy. That’s not what Doug RC Lab is about.
People over profit comes first.
If something helps the community, supports safer choices, saves someone money, or makes the hobby easier to understand, I want to share it. I don’t claim to know everything. I’m not a guru. I’m a husband, a father, a disabled creator, and a lifelong hobbyist trying to move forward one honest review, one tiny truck, and one useful lesson at a time.
Doug is the character. Pat is the reason.
Doug helps me tell the stories and express things that are sometimes difficult to put into words. Through a stubborn Canadian moose with questionable logic and a love for tiny trucks, I hope to remind people that rebuilding doesn’t have to happen all at once.
Life doesn’t always go according to plan.
Sometimes all you can do is keep moving forward with lemon tears dripping down your cheeks and a little hope that tomorrow might be better than today.
That’s enough.
Built From Bed.
Built To Crawl.
Follow the build.
