Doug RC Lab is built around honest RC testing, practical upgrades, and real-world ownership. While mini crawlers remain our foundation, we continue expanding into new RC platforms, tools, and creator equipment as the Lab grows.
Doug RC Lab is not about pretending every product is perfect. It is about testing gear, learning out loud, sharing what works, and being honest when something does not.

Doug RC Lab is a family-run RC media brand created by Pat & Sara Jacques in Southwestern Ontario, Canada.
After multiple setbacks following a back surgery in 2022, Pat began building, testing, filming, and sharing RC content through an adaptive workflow. Together, Pat and Sara have grown the Lab into a family-run platform focused on honest testing, practical builds, and community-first RC content.
What started as a way to stay connected to the hobby became something bigger: a place for honest RC testing, beginner support, budget-friendly builds, and community-first content.
The message behind the Lab is simple:
You do not need the biggest shop, the most expensive gear, or the perfect setup to be part of this hobby.
You just need curiosity, patience, a truck that makes you smile, and a place to crawl.
